Truffles are the fruiting bodies of a subterranean fungus that lives in a symbiotic relationship with the roots of oak trees. Known as “diamonds of the kitchen”, truffles are a legendary ingredient of haute cuisine.
We carry two truffle-infused olive oils: black truffle, which is relatively intense and sharp, and white truffle, which is smoother and more rounded. Both are produced by steeping truffles in mild, extra virgin olive oil. We also carry truffle-infused salt, scattered with tiny pieces of black truffle.
Try our truffle-infused products on salads, vegetables, mashed potatoes, french fries, rice, pasta, risotto, meat, fish, soups, sauces … anything savoury, really. Just a drizzle is enough to suffuse a dish with intense truffle flavour. Many of our customers sit down to watch a movie with a bowl of truffle popcorn!
