3 cups flour
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup nonfat dried milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
1 cup EVOO peanut butter
1/2 cup + 1 tablespoon cold water, or enough to make the dough come together
Make the olive oil peanut butter using this recipe.
Preheat oven to 300°F. Lightly grease two baking sheets, or line them with parchment.
In a large bowl, mix flour, oats, dried milk, and salt. Add eggs and peanut butter, stirring to combine; the mixture will be crumbly. Add enough water to bring the dough together.
Roll the dough into a sheet about 1/4” thick, and cut with a 3 1/2” dog bone shaped cutter (or another cutter of your choice). Gather and re-roll the scraps, and continue to cut biscuits until all the dough is used up. (To make dog biscuits without a cutter, simply drop the dough in walnut-sized balls onto the baking sheets, then flatten them to about 1/4” disks.)
Bake for about 40 to 60 minutes, until biscuits are dark golden brown, and dry and crisp all the way through. Remove biscuits from oven and allow to cool on the pans.
Enjoy, furry friends!
